Photography

This month I spent some time skiing in Slovenia, Rogla which provided me with some incredible views, why I decided to spend some time on photography. At first, I was really looking to take cool photos of people skiing but that proved pretty unconventional and I didn't want to risk getting run into on the slope. Thankfully, there was a lot of pretty places and views I wanted to photograph anyways so I concentrated more on that.

Skiing

This month I have finally had a chance to go skiing. I have gone to Rogla in Slovenia with my family and a friend. The first day was pretty chaotic as there was a pretty big snow storm going on which made it pretty hard to enjoy skiing but still, this wasn't enough to stop us from still doing it anyways. The rest of the days the weather was amazing and overall we had a lot of fun. We had also explored some unmarked paths through the woods which turned out to be absolutely gorgeous.

Service

Collecting resources for a cat shelter, humanitarian dance marathon

This month there was an action held by the local Interact club to help a local cat shelter, which had recently burned down. We collected everything from food and blankets to money which was used to buy more things the shelter specifically asked for. The action went really well, more than expected was collected, and two people even decided to adopt cats from this specific shelter. At the end of the action, we personally drove to the shelter where we met with it's representative and handed her over everything that was collected. This month me and a few of my classmates also held our big CAS project. The original plan was a dance marathon where people would pay an entrance fee, pick a humanitarian organization, and dance as long as they could. The person who would continue dancing for the longest is the winner and all the money collected would be given to the organization he picked. In the end, not a lot of people showed up.
