Creativity
Drawing
This month I decided to continue working on the drawing of the Taj Mahal I had started back in January. At first, I hadn't planned to put a bunch of details in and started with a big bold black line to replace an area around the doors with a bunch of detailed writing on it. I have regretted this as I, in the end, decided I like the drawing way better with the little details so now the bold black line really stands out and in a way clashes with the rest of the drawing. To prevent this in the future I will make sure to plan ahead of time way better.
Activity
Running
This month I continued running as it got significantly warmer allowing me to run outside with no problems with the cold air causing me to catch a cold. I have always been really competitive, even with myself meaning if I don't have a timing for a certain distance I have been aiming for I will be feeling pretty. I don't want to be getting mad at myself especially since it will be unavoidable that my timing won't be nearly as good as before when I was running consistently. Therefore, I made a decision to stop wearing my Garmin sports watch which allows me to track both the distance I ran as well as the time it took me to run that distance. This way I had been able to relax much more on my runs and not overwork myself trying to keep up the pace I am not able to due to my currently poor stamina.
Service
Dog walking
My neighbors had gone on a short vacation and they had asked me to, in the meantime, take care of their dog. The dog stays in their apartment, but I regularly visit to entertain him, feed him, and take him on walks. He is very energetic sometimes but nothing I can't deal with as he is fairly small. Overall I have been enjoying this experience as I love dogs and always wanted one but my parents are not fans of that idea so unfortunately, I wasn't able to get one.
